Regains
Where's my stuff?
I'm sorry, I was only able to bring you and a few of your belongings along. There may still be a way to gain them back, but it's not going to be easy.
How's this work?
OOCly, you the players will submit eligible threads here that your mod will then take and roll through a highly intricate and thorough process that will reward you with an item of either personal importance (to someone) or a nice item you might find use for... Or it might just take up the pile at a Yard Sard.
One thread = one regain.
So what kinds of threads are eligible?
Any thread between yours and another character, with at least five comments from you (ten comments total, and you can use your AC thread). Multiple other characters can be involved, as long as it's a single continuous thread.
Public threads with NPCs are also eligible, provided they meet the above requirements.
What about trial and investigation threads?
Those will not count, sorry.
Do eligible threads ever expire?
Nope, threads can be turned in whenever they reach ten comments. There's no limit on when that can be reached, only that each ten-comments nets you one use. You can keep threading as long as you want.
My partner already turned in our thread, what do?
You can still turn that thread in yourself for an item! The one-use-per-thread rule goes per player, not for the game overall.
My thread reached twenty comments total, can I get two items?
Yes! Please round down to the nearest five comments on your initial submission. Once you get another ten comments please submit a link that goes to the first of THOSE tags.
Is there any limit to this?
I'll nakedly borrow from my fellow mods at WCB and What A Twist and say there's a 20 roll limit per submission for my own mental health. You are however, free to submit multiple comments per rolling session.
The character I was threading with died :(
Death is other people, so long as YOU are alive, you're free to continue tagging and submit those threads for sweet regains. Death is also immaterial, though. So the dead aren't so lucky.
So what if my character regains items but then dies the next day?
It'll be assumed that they regained the items prior to their death, leaving them (somewhere) for your CR to find (or someone, you can work it out).
When do I get my stuff?
OOC, rolls will be ever Sunday and Wednesday.
ICly, you're free to have your character get their items anytime after it's OOCly confirmed.
Okay, how do we actually get our items in-character?
The Cornucopia has several bonfires before it. Over your time here, everyone earns small tokens they can toss into the flame and receive the blessing of the harvest. That blessing just might be.... weird.
That makes me worried.
It's fine.
Where do these tokens come from?
IC, they'll appear on your characters nightstand when they're not looking.
No seriously, where are they coming from?
Don't question the god's judgement.
Will this come back to bite us?
Probably not.
PLEASE DO NOT EDIT YOUR COMMENTS ONCE THEY'RE UP. If you get more eligible threads before regains are rolled, put them in a separate comment.
